How Shadow works

  1. 1. Import or author the audit case

A case starts as a structured evidence bundle: claims, sources, verification hashes, council findings, and decision history.

  2. 2. Council agents review the evidence

Specialised analytical perspectives examine the same evidence and publish their reasoning. Disagreement is preserved, not averaged away.

  3. 3. Shadow derives the first failure and impact

The system traces which evidence step first contradicts the required standard, then maps every downstream finding affected by it.

  4. 4. Human review and approval are recorded

Verification proves the evidence has not changed. Human review records why the decision stands or changes. Approval is a separate, explicit gate.
